Once upon a time there lived a hedgehog.
He liked going for walks.
His name was Lemy.
He was a boy.
Now one day he went for a walk to May Hill.
he loved May Hill.
He took a picnic with him in case he got hungry.
At four o’clock he had tea then he went home and went to bed.
He dreamt about eating his favourite food.
In the morning he ate cereal for breakfast then went to the shop to buy some sweets and had them for his lunch.
His pudding was lollipops and popcorn.
Then he had quiet time.
He had a sleep and it was soon tea time.
he had tea and then went to bed.

One day when winter was awake lots of trees were growing.

Trees were growing each day.
Some grew fast and some grew slow.

One morning there was snow all over the place.
The trees had snow on their branches and trunks.
The trees were shaking to try and get the snow off them.

The trees shook the snow off their branches.

Then one day the sun came back out again and dried up all the snow.
The trees were so happy that they grew really tall.
They grew up to the clouds.

There were crispy colourful leaves on the ground.
The leaves were so colourful that children picked them up.
and some children stepped on the leaves and it made a crunchy sound.
They laughed when they heard the crunchy sound - crunchy!

The trees were still growing and children wanted to pick them but their mummy’s and daddy’s said No
Some children said. ‘ok Dad’ - OK!

Children went for walks often because it was the middle of summer.
When they went for walks they had the sun on their face.
The trees were so happy to see people
and soon it was night time and the stars and moon was out.

And all the young people settled down to sleep - SLEEP!
