My secret cupboard where I can play and read

My secret cupboard where I can play and read

Today my friend came over to play. We were born just half an hour apart on the same day! I like it when she visits me and stays for lunch. Today we bounced on the trampoline, climbed my favourite tree and played Queens.

Yesterday I spent the whole day sorting out an under stairs cupboard with Mummy in her office. Mummy couldn’t believe how many things had been put in this one cupboard. Now it is cleared out, it’s my secret den where I can play, read and rest. It’s rather fun and I’ve taken some things in to it to play with. I really like reading and spend most of my time in it reading.
I like to settle down in it while mummy is in her office and keep really quiet inside it so Mummy thinks I am in bed and then I get to stay up late.

I’ve sorted out lots of my toys that I no longer play with and I’m going to sell them to save up money for my farm. I want to be a lady farmer and I already have 4.15 saved up to buy it.

On Thursday I went for a walk around Newent lake park. I fed a pack of ducks; I think there were about 40 of them. They were so hungry that they ate seeds off my wellies. The biggest duck the width of my arms - he was enormous.

I was out with my Grandma again today. We went to the Dean Heritage Centre at  Soudley. I did some maths there and went on the trail to find some sheep. I got a certificate because I found all the sheep.

Then I had lunch and took the ferrets for a walk.

After that I went to the library and chose some books. It was rather cold by then, so I put a blanket over me. I chose Clarice Bean spells trouble, the Boy with the magic numbers, The best sleepover ever, Boy overboard, Banned!, Chrissie the Wish Fairy and Magical Children.

Then I went swimming. I had a new teacher called Laura. She had her ears pierced, but no earrings in and blonde hair tied back in a ponytail. Laura said I’m nearly ready to get my level 6.

When I got home I showed Mummy what Grandma bought me, which was a stationary set. I felt rather tired after my day, so lay in front of the fire reading. Mummy made me some mince pies and I ate three of them along with some home made biscuits because I was very hungry, even after my tea!

my new wooden cot; which I made myself

Today I went to the Advent Market with Grandma in Cheltenham. There were pretty lights everywhere and Grandma bought me a mood ring, a pack of Christmas cards and a rocking cradle for my baby.

I went into a few shops where there were lots of things that Grandma and Granddad might like to buy. Also there was an enormous clock and every hour and at half past a little Mouse popped out; the clock span around and fish blew bubbles. The clock only has one hand, which tells you the minutes and the sun tells you what hour it is.

I went up the escalator so we could see a fountain down below very clearly. It was really beautiful. Read the rest of this entry »
