I went to the farm yesterday and cleaned out the rabbits, fed the sheep, mucked out the hen house, hunted for eggs, then I asked if I was allowed to milk Primrose, their big black cow!
When we got to Primrose, B got the milk flowing and then I had a go. I was rather good at it!
Thin milk came out into the bowl because I worked busily with my small, deft fingers. When all the milk was out we took it back to the farm and filtered it through a cloth into a clean bottle.
Then Mummy came and I went for my swimming lesson before going home for tea. At swimming I was practising front crawl, scull and breaststroke. I’m very excited because soon I’m going to be able to start trampolining lessons too. You have to be eight to do that and now I am old enough!

dear September, thank you for my comment. I’m glad your girl enjoyed my blog - we’ve just been looking at Hannah’s too. I like the photo of the nest she made best. I look forward to having a look at some more blog posts on her blog soon.
Maybe you will get the chance to milk a cow one day, Denise. I’m glad you like my blog. I hope Katie will like my blog too.
