I’m all signed up to do our local library’s Quest Seeker challenge.
Raj, Belle and Louis, have to search for a golden book. Cadmus, the gatekeeper, sets them tasks to bring back the golden book – and every time I read a book from my library I get a sticker to put on my poster.
There are three tasks and I have to read 2 books to complete each task. The library assistants keep joking that I will have finished the challenge in one night because I always read so many books!
I’ve chosen my first books; I’ll be talking about one for my Monday Book share post and my name is on the wall in the library along with all the other children who are taking part.
At the end of the challenge you get a certificate and medal to say you completed it and other things throughout the challenge like stickers.
I’m taking part because I enjoy reading books. I’m most looking forward to finding some new mystery and adventure books to read.
I think most libraries are taking part, so you can join in too!

This sounds a fantastic project, Verona. Your older cousin was telling me about this today. He is off to his library tomorrow as he knows he will easily read six books during the summer holiday. You will be able to talk to him about his favourite stories.
Have a great time at the book share - it sounds wonderful.
Hi Grandma,
You have made a mistake. I don’t actually go anywhere for my book share; it’s something I write about on my blog every Monday along with lots of other bloggers.
I hope James gets on well with his books and enjoys them. See you on 26th
xx darling!
