Today I went to a different farm. I was going to help out because A is going to have a baby soon and needed some help lifting and carrying things.
I went along in my waterproofs and met an American girl there who was also helping out. First of all we fed some lambs that needed bottles - they were quite big and some of them drank 2 1/2 bottles of milk!
Then we went and collected eggs. I collected over 50 and they filled 3 buckets. I climbed up into a haystack and found one egg at the top!
A’s son helped collect the eggs and he got a few in his bucket too. He is only 3, so he did really well.
We filled up the chicken’s water and then got the sheep in for the night. I had to shake a bucket of food to get them to come in, and when they came I put their food into their trough.
Then mummy and daddy came to collect me. I was very hungry and had potatoes, sweetcorn and pilchards for tea.

Hello, this is Hannah again, you are so lucky to work on a real farm, i really like your video. The lambs are really nice too. from Hannah x
Hi Hannah,
Have you ever noticed that if you look at your name it’s spelt the same backwards as forwards?!
I was planning to have a farm when I’m fifteen, so I need to save up more. I want to have a farm in a quiet place. i want to ride on donkeys. I’ll probably have a cart as well instead of a car.
I’m planning to have animals, fruit and vegetables. I was going to have hens, cows, goats, sheep so that I can milk them and get eggs.
Are you going to have animals or just fruit and vegetables?

50 eggs, wow! That is alot.
The Silver Dorking started laying again this morning and her egg has gone stright into the incuebator for hatching with the goose eggs. I like Silver Dorkins as they’re possibly the oldest English breed of chicken, have ou thought about what kind of hens you ight have?
Poppy
Hi Poppy
I hope your egg hatches well, along with the baby goose. Silver Dorking sounds rather a nice name.
I’ve seen a hen at your farm which is white all over with black spots and patches of purple on each side of its face, but I don’t know what type this is. Can you tell me because I like those.
What is your favourite type of dog? My favourite is old English sheepdog and small black spaniels!
